Copyright Ownership
Users retain full copyright to all original works posted on Stanza. Posting content does not transfer ownership. Your poems, prose, audio recordings, and other creative works remain yours.
License Grant
By posting content on Stanza, you grant Stanza a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and cache your content on the platform. This license is solely for the purpose of operating and providing the Stanza service. This license terminates when the content is deleted, subject to reasonable caching and backup periods.
DMCA Takedown Process
If you believe your copyrighted work has been infringed on Stanza, you may submit a DMCA takedown notice to copyright@stanza.ink. Your notice must include:
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim has been infringed.
- The URL or location of the infringing material on Stanza.
- Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email).
- A statement that you have a good faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, made under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Counter-Notification
If your content was removed and you believe it was done in error, you may file a counter-notification. Your counter-notification must include:
- Your contact information (name, address, phone number, email).
- Identification of the material that was removed and its original location.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you believe the material was removed as a result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your consent to the jurisdiction of the federal court in your district, and that you will accept service of process from the party who submitted the takedown notice.
Repeat Infringers
Stanza will terminate accounts of users who are repeat infringers. We maintain a policy of addressing repeat infringement in accordance with the DMCA.
