Content Licensing
Last updated: March 2026
Your Rights
You own everything you create. Posting on Stanza does not transfer ownership of your poems, prose, audio recordings, or any other creative work.
License to Stanza
When you post content, you grant Stanza a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to display, distribute, reproduce, and cache your content for the purpose of operating and promoting the platform. This includes displaying your work in feeds, search results, and embedded previews.
License Termination
When you delete content from Stanza, the license terminates. Content may persist briefly in caches, backups, and CDN nodes but will be removed within a reasonable timeframe, typically 30 days.
What Stanza Will Not Do
We will never sell your work. We will never claim authorship of your work. We will never use your work in ways unrelated to operating the platform without your explicit consent. We will never license your work to third parties for commercial use.
Other Users
Other users may interact with your work through the platform's features (cheers, encores, critiques, lists). They may not copy, republish, or distribute your work outside of Stanza without your permission.
Audio & Spoken Word
Audio recordings of your work are subject to the same licensing terms. Automatic transcriptions generated by Stanza are derivative works and are also covered by this license.
