Accessibility Statement
Last updated: April 2026
Stanza is committed to improving accessibility across our web app and mobile apps (iOS and Android). Poetry should be available to everyone, including people using assistive technologies.
Defined Terms
- Assistive technology — Software or hardware used to improve access, such as screen readers, magnifiers, switch controls, and voice control tools.
- Screen reader — Software that reads on-screen content and UI semantics aloud (for example VoiceOver and TalkBack).
- Read aloud — In-app text-to-speech playback available in Reader Mode for text/prose content.
- Voice navigation — Navigating the interface using spoken commands. Stanza currently relies on platform-level voice control features and does not yet provide a first-party in-app voice-command navigation system.
Our Approach
We are actively working toward WCAG 2.1 Level AA conformance. Accessibility work is ongoing and included in regular product development. We do not claim full WCAG 2.1 AA compliance at this time.
